Fastnet Rock at sunrise, West Cork
Fastnet Rock, West Cork
Limited to 12 editions of each of two sizes. The iconic Fastnet rock lighthouse, seen as the sun rises on a perfect morning. My friend and boatman Colin Barnes and I had waited for weeks for the weather conditions to be just right for photographing this wonderful feat of engineering. The Fastnet is known as "Ireland's teardrop" as it was often the last view of Ireland seen by those emigrating to America. This image is a Limited edition but another of my images of the lighthouse is an open edition print and can be seen here - http://www.mikebrownphotography.com/irish-landscape-photography/irish-castles-lighthouses-and-abbeys/fastnet-rock-west-cork.html
