Limited to 12 editions of each of two sizes. Nun's Cove near Clonakilty in West Cork is actually more correctly named Sheep Cove. However, many locals know it as Nun's cove and this is how it was introduced to me many years ago. The western side of the cove looks out across Clonakilty bay and this view is one of my favourites in the area. Here, the sun sets on a winter evening as a calm sea laps onto the shingle beach. This view, with its multitude of rocks and islands formed over millennia is a truly classic Irish coastal view.
